Thank you for taking time to check out First Baptist Church of Burnside. We are a small but loving church. Our mission is quite simple; to encourage each other and to reach people and make disciples. We want the Burnside community around us to know Jesus. From community events to local outreach efforts, everything we do points to Him. Why not come join us?

Our Mission
The mission of First Baptist Church of Burnside is to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20 to develop devoted disciples by bringing people to Christ (evangelism), building them up in Christ (discipleship), and sending them out to expand Christ’s Kingdom (missions and ministry).
The Bible is our sole authority.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness."

Individuals have direct access to God through Jesus Christ.
"Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews 4:16

Baptism is by immersion.

The church is a place of safety.

We are to make disciples by telling them about Christ.

FBCB Kids
At First Baptist Church in Burnside, our children experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about the love of Jesus in a Biblical and creative way. Our desire for kids is to know God made them and that God loves them and Jesus wants to be their friend.

FBCB Kids is a safe, supportive place where kids can grow, learn, and have fun! Every week, there are ways for kids to discover REAL life that Christ offers. Your children will enjoy seeing how much God loves them, how important they are, and what it means to trust Jesus.
Awana Club - Coming Soon
Belong, Believe, Become. Children build spiritual resilience when they feel they belong to Jesus, when they believe in the truth of the Bible and then become disciplemakers in their own right.
"Back To Basics"
Our kids will have a fun and interactive time learning life skills that will teach them about "Getting back to the basic!" They will learn about chores, cooking, etiquette, gardening and more.
